The Hamptons property belonging to Alec and Hilaria Baldwin has been removed from sale, marking another instance where the couple has decided to pause efforts to find a buyer. This development follows recent news that they had reduced the price of the expansive estate by a significant margin. According to MarketWatch, the decision to take the residence off the market occurred just weeks after a one-million-dollar reduction to its $19 million asking price. At that time, the family also indicated their intention to spend the upcoming summer months in Spain, raising questions about their long-term plans for the New York-area home. The sprawling property, situated in Amagansett, spans over 10,000 square feet and sits on approximately 10 acres of land. It features seven bedrooms and an array of luxurious amenities, including multiple fireplaces, a custom-designed library, and a movie theater. Outside, the estate boasts a secluded pool, a vegetable garden, and a private pond, offering considerable privacy and recreational opportunities. This is not the first occasion the Baldwins have listed and subsequently delisted the Hamptons residence. The property first appeared on the market in September 2022 with an initial price tag of $29 million. Despite its luxurious offerings and prime location, it has yet to attract a definitive buyer. Real estate experts often note that properties of this caliber can take longer to sell due to their specific market and the limited pool of potential high-net-worth buyers. The fluctuating decisions regarding its sale could reflect various factors, including market conditions, personal considerations, or a reevaluation of their family’s living arrangements. The couple’s recent announcement about spending the summer abroad adds another layer of intrigue to their real estate movements. While they are expected to be in Spain, the future of their prominent Hamptons home remains an open question as it once again sits off the active market.
