Investors seeking affordable yet impactful additions to their portfolios this June might consider a trio of stocks highlighted by Yahoo Finance. These companies, each trading below the $10 mark, are suggested as attractive opportunities for substantial investment. The first company drawing focus is Tellurian Inc. (NASDAQ: TELL). This liquefied natural gas (LNG) developer is currently constructing its Driftwood LNG terminal. Despite past challenges in securing equity partners for the project, the firm has successfully initiated infrastructure development. Its strategy involves a unique financing approach that integrates an equity component directly into its LNG sales agreements. This method provides the option for customers to acquire a stake in the project or commit to purchasing LNG at pricing linked to the Henry Hub benchmark. Yahoo Finance notes that Tellurian possesses substantial natural gas reserves, valued at roughly $9.5 billion, along with additional pipeline assets amounting to approximately $600 million. Next on the list is Rhythm Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: RYTM). This biopharmaceutical firm specializes in treatments for rare genetic obesity disorders. Its primary medication, IMCIVREE (setmelanotide), is approved in several key markets, including the U.S., Europe, and Great Britain. The drug addresses weight management in patients with specific genetic conditions, including proopiomelanocortin (POMC), proprotein convertase subtilisin/kexin type 1 (PCSK1), and leptin receptor (LEPR) deficiencies, as well as Bardet-Biedl syndrome. The company has recently expanded its market presence, securing reimbursement in Germany and initiating commercial activities in France. Looking ahead, Rhythm Pharmaceuticals anticipates submitting a New Drug Application (NDA) for its drug to treat early-onset obesity due to mutations in the brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) pathway by the close of 2024. Finally, Archer Aviation Inc. (NYSE: ACHR) rounds out the selection. This company is at the forefront of developing electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, commonly referred to as "flying cars." The firm has secured significant contracts, including a notable order for up to 200 aircraft from the U.S. Air Force, valued at as much as $142 million. Archer has also forged partnerships with major airlines in the United States and the United Arab Emirates, with intentions to launch air taxi services in various cities globally by 2025.
