Chelsea's number nine has often been regarded as a jinxed position, with several players failing to live up to expectations in recent years. Historically, the jersey has been associated with great strikers, but recent incumbents have seen mixed results, prompting debates among fans and pundits alike. The pressure to succeed is considerable, especially for a player like Pedro who is stepping into a legacy fraught with challenges. Pedro’s debut season highlights his potential, and many enthusiasts are eager to see if he can maintain his scoring prowess this time around. As he aims to ramp up his goal tally, the support from Chelsea's fanbase will be pivotal. They hope that his rapid adaptation to the new role will be a sign of things to come, potentially revitalizing the dreams of the club’s attacking capabilities. Chelsea management will undoubtedly be hoping that Pedro not only breaks the number nine curse but surpasses it by becoming a prolific scorer this season.
