Zendaya Reunites with Former Co-Star Kadeem Hardison on "Euphoria" Set

Kadeem Hardison, known for his work spanning several decades, has spoken about his recent involvement in the drama series "Euphoria." His appearance marked a notable reunion with lead actress Zendaya. The actor conveyed his impressions of working alongside her again, years after their collaboration on a Disney Channel program. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Hardison described his "Euphoria" journey as quite remarkable, particularly noting the evolved professional relationship with Zendaya. He initially worked with her when she was younger on the series "K.C. Undercover." He recalled recognizing her talent even then, but expressed surprise at the profound artistic range she now exhibits. The hit HBO series reportedly incorporated a special acknowledgment within one of its episodes, referencing Hardison's iconic role from over thirty years prior. This creative decision allowed for a subtle homage to his distinguished career, integrating a piece of his acting history into the contemporary narrative of "Euphoria." Hardison found this aspect of his involvement particularly engaging. During their time together on "K.C. Undercover," Zendaya portrayed the daughter of Hardison's character. He observed her as a talented yet playful young performer. Now, on the set of "Euphoria," he sees a more mature and focused individual, which he articulated by saying she is "a little less goofy" than he remembered from their earlier collaboration. This shift underscores her growth as an actress. His role in "Euphoria" presented a unique opportunity to revisit a professional connection within a significantly different genre and context. This experience allowed Hardison to not only contribute to a critically acclaimed series but also to witness firsthand the artistic development of his former co-star as she continues to forge a path in the entertainment industry.
