The Hollywood Hills West dwelling, previously owned by actor Jeremy Piven, recently changed hands for a sum of $6.9 million. This sale represents the culmination of a somewhat prolonged process to find a buyer for the contemporary-styled estate. The 6,200-square-foot residence, initially entering the market with a higher asking price, underwent multiple revisions to its valuation before securing the eventual transaction. MarketWatch reports that the property’s journey to sale involved its removal and relisting on several occasions over the past year, each instance accompanied by a reduced price. Piven, known for his roles in popular television series, acquired the property in 2004 for $3.5 million. The initial design of the house, which boasts expansive views of Century City and the ocean, was by the architectural firm Rios Clementi Hale Studios. Following its purchase, Piven collaborated with Fred Dagirmanjian for further enhancements and a personal touch to the interior and exterior spaces, a detail highlighted by MarketWatch. The property is notable for its sleek design, featuring polished concrete flooring and soaring ceilings that create an open and airy atmosphere. Among its amenities are four bedrooms and six bathrooms, providing ample living space. The outdoor areas are equally impressive, including a zero-edge swimming pool, an outdoor kitchen equipped for entertaining, and an eight-person spa. These features contribute to the estate’s appeal as a private and luxurious retreat. Throughout its time on the market, the listing was managed by several real estate professionals. Bob Hurwitz of Hurwitz James Company and Stuart Vetterick of Hilton & Hyland were among the agents who represented the property at various points, working to attract potential buyers for the distinctive Los Angeles home.
