His contributions have made him a beloved figure among Villa supporters, and his potential departure is causing significant concern within the club. According to BBC Sport, Watkins has transformed into a vital part of Villa's success since joining the team. His on-pitch performances have not only won matches but also cemented his status as a fan favorite. However, as rumors of offers from the Middle East circulate, there is growing uncertainty about his future at Villa Park. The club had hoped to keep Watkins for the long term, valuing both his skill and leadership qualities. Yet, with lucrative propositions reportedly on the table from Saudi clubs, Villa may have to prepare for a reality where they lose one of their most treasured players.
