Jim Curtis, known for his relationship with celebrated actress Jennifer Aniston, has opted to remove his long-held downtown New York City apartment from active listings. The residence, which had been available for purchase for approximately four months, was taken off the market recently, according to MarketWatch. This development occurred just weeks after Curtis and Aniston commemorated their first year together as a couple. The property, a spacious one-bedroom unit, is situated in a distinguished pre-war cooperative building located in Manhattan's vibrant Greenwich Village neighborhood. MarketWatch reports that the asking price for the apartment was set at $1.5 million. The unit boasts a significant renovation from its original layout, having been transformed from a studio into a more expansive living space with a dedicated bedroom. Inside, the apartment features design elements such as exposed brick interior walls, a fireplace, and a contemporary kitchen equipped with updated appliances. The bathroom also reflects modern updates, contributing to the overall appeal of the renovated space. The cooperative building itself, constructed in 1929, provides residents with several amenities, including a doorman service, a fitness center, and a rooftop terrace that offers panoramic views of the city. Curtis acquired the Greenwich Village property in 1999 for $335,000. Public records indicate that prior to its recent delisting, the apartment had been placed on the rental market in 2021 and again in 2022, with a monthly rent of $6,500. It is not currently known whether the property will be relisted for sale at a later date or what Curtis's future plans are for the residence. The timing of the delisting, coinciding with the couple's relationship anniversary, has drawn some attention. While no official statement has been made regarding the reason for withdrawing the property, its removal from the competitive New York City real estate market leaves its future status uncertain.
